St. Stephen’s Basilica
Majestic sacred landmark
St. Stephen’s Basilica in Budapest is one of Hungary’s most important religious and architectural landmarks. Completed in 1905, it is dedicated to Hungary’s first king, St. Stephen. The neoclassical church features a majestic dome, richly decorated interiors, and stunning city views from its observation deck. It also houses the mummified right hand of St. Stephen, a revered national relic.
